MSA-formfactor Erbium-Ytterbium Co-doped Fiber Amplifiers (EYDFAs) suna ba da fa'idodi kamar ƙaramin girma da ingantaccen aiki, ana amfani da su sosai a cikin sadarwa ta gani, kewayon laser, da sauransu. Manyan fa'idodi:

• Ingantaccen Aiki Mai Tsayi: Ƙananan ƙarfin yanayin zafi yana ba da damar aiki mai dorewa a faɗin kewayon zafin jiki mai faɗi, rage buƙatu akan tsarin sarrafa zafin jiki, inganta aminci, rage canjin aiki saboda canje-canjen zafin jiki, tabbatar da daidaiton sigina da daidaito yayin watsawa.
• Siffar Ƙarancin Hayaniya: Yawanci ≤6dB. Ƙarancin hayaniya yana rage tsangwama da aka shigar yayin faɗaɗawa, inganta ingancin sigina da daidaiton watsawa, wanda yake da mahimmanci ga tsarin sadarwa mai inganci da na'urar ji da ji na dogon lokaci.
