    MSA-formfactor Erbium-Ytterbium Co-doped Fiber Amplifiers (EYDFAs) offer advantages like compact size and superior performance, widely used in optical communication, laser ranging, etc. Key benefits:
    • Compact and Integrable: Compared to traditional amplifiers, MSA-sized EYDFAs integrate easily into space-constrained optical communication equipment or other systems, meeting demands for miniaturization.
    • Excellent Broadband Amplification: EYDFAs cover a wider wavelength range, advantageous for long-haul, high-capacity optical communication, amplifying multiple wavelengths simultaneously, meeting amplification requirements for the 1540~1565nm band.
    • High Pump Efficiency & Low Power Consumption: Ytterbium ions broaden pump wavelength options and increase pump light absorption efficiency, reducing amplifier power consumption and enhancing overall system performance. Achieves high power output while reducing energy consumption, aligning with green initiatives.
    • Stable Amplification Performance: Lower temperature sensitivity allows stable performance across a wider temperature range, reducing demands on temperature control systems, improving reliability, minimizing performance fluctuations due to temperature changes, ensuring signal stability and consistency during transmission.
    • Low Noise Figure: Typically ≤6dB. Low noise reduces introduced interference during amplification, improving signal quality and transmission accuracy, crucial for long-haul, high-precision optical communication and sensing systems.
