High Precision DVS Module from China Suppliers - Customizable Solution with Real-Time Monitoring and Stability
Product
The DVS integrated module employs optical fibers as vibration sensors, utilizing a single fiber to simultaneously monitor vibrations and transmit signals. Based on Rayleigh's backscattering principle, when external vibrations interfere with the fiber, they cause fluctuations in the amplitude of reflected light within the fiber. The module detects these variations to perceive vibration intensity and precisely locate the vibration source.
The module integrates multiple components required for detection, typically including a 3K narrow linewidth fiber laser, an AOM acousto-optic modulator, a pulsed EDFA (erbium-doped fiber amplifier), an optical circulator, a Raman amplifier, and a high-signal-to-noise ratio detection module. These components work in concert to achieve functions such as generating, modulating, amplifying, and detecting optical.
Product Applications
Structural health monitoring-Bridges, DAMS, high-rise buildings, etc
Geology and resource exploration--petroleum exploration, seismic monitoring
Environment and security monitoring--forest fire prevention, border security

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How does the DVS integrated module detect external vibrations?
The module utilizes a single optical fiber as a sensor. Based on Rayleigh's backscattering principle, external vibrations cause fluctuations in the amplitude of the reflected light inside the fiber, allowing the module to locate and measure vibration intensity.
What components are integrated within this DVS module?
It integrates a 3K narrow linewidth fiber laser, an AOM acousto-optic modulator, a pulsed EDFA, an optical circulator, a Raman amplifier, and a high-signal-to-noise ratio detection module.
What is the sensing range or distance of the module?
The typical sensing distance is 40 km, with a maximum sensing capability of up to 60 km.
What are the primary applications of the DVS module?
It is widely used in structural health monitoring (bridges, dams, high-rise buildings), geology and resource exploration (seismic and petroleum monitoring), and security monitoring (borders, forest fire prevention).
What is the operating temperature range for this module?
The module is designed to operate reliably in environments ranging from -15℃ to 55℃.
What connector and fiber type does this module support?
It features an FC/APC connector type and uses SMF28e 900um-Pine Casing fiber.
