High-Precision DVS Module from China Suppliers - Customizable Solutions for Real-Time Monitoring in Your Factory
Product Description
The DVS integrated module employs optical fibers as vibration sensors, utilizing a single fiber to simultaneously monitor vibrations and transmit signals. Based on Rayleigh's backscattering principle, when external vibrations interfere with the fiber, they cause fluctuations in the amplitude of reflected light within the fiber. The module detects these variations to perceive vibration intensity and precisely locate the vibration source.
The module integrates multiple components required for detection, typically including a 3K narrow linewidth fiber laser, an AOM acousto-optic modulator, a pulsed EDFA (erbium-doped fiber amplifier), an optical circulator, a Raman amplifier, and a high-signal-to-noise ratio detection module. These components work in concert to achieve functions such as generating, modulating, amplifying, and detecting optical signals.
Product Applications
- Structural health monitoring - Bridges, DAMS, high-rise buildings, etc.
- Geology and resource exploration - Petroleum exploration, seismic monitoring.
- Environment and security monitoring - Forest fire prevention, border security.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is the primary sensing principle of this DVS integrated module?
The module operates on Rayleigh's backscattering principle. It uses optical fibers as vibration sensors where external vibrations disturb the fiber, causing amplitude fluctuations in the reflected light. The system detects these fluctuations to measure vibration intensity and localize the source.
What is the maximum monitoring range of the module?
The module supports a typical sensing distance of 40 km, with a maximum capability of up to 60 km.
What components are integrated within the module?
It integrates a 3K narrow linewidth fiber laser, an acousto-optic modulator (AOM), a pulsed erbium-doped fiber amplifier (EDFA), an optical circulator, a Raman amplifier, and a high-signal-to-noise ratio detection module.
What are the typical applications for this system?
Key applications include structural health monitoring (bridges, dams, high-rise buildings), geology and resource exploration (petroleum, seismic monitoring), and security monitoring (forest fire prevention, border security).
What is the operating temperature range for the DVS module?
The module operates reliably in temperatures ranging from -15℃ to 55℃, and can be stored in temperatures from -20℃ to 70℃.
