    SFP-style EDFA products feature compact size, integrated functionality, and low power consumption, suitable for 5G networks, high-speed data centers, etc.:
    • Compact Dimensions: Standard SFP form factor, small size. Easily inserts into device SFP slots without extra space, convenient for use in space-limited equipment/systems (e.g., data center switches), improving device integration and space utilization.
    • Hot-Pluggable Design: Supports hot-plug functionality, allowing insertion/removal during device operation without powering down. Facilitates installation, replacement, and maintenance, improving operational convenience and system flexibility.
    • Flexible Control Interface: Typically features an I2C control interface for EDFA control and monitoring. Enables real-time monitoring of parameters like optical power and gain, and uploads monitoring data for visualization, easing management and configuration.
    • Multiple Operating Modes: Supports APC, ACC, and other modes (APC is usually default). Effectively ensures stable EDFA operation. Users can select suitable modes based on needs for different application scenarios.
    • Low Power Consumption: Uses uncooled 980nm pump laser modules with very low heat generation. Typically operates on a single +3.3V power supply with low功耗 (power consumption). Helps reduce device energy consumption and thermal load, aligning with green initiatives.
    • Adjustable Output Power: High saturated output power up to 16dBm, which is adjustable to meet different optical signal amplification power requirements.
    • Broad Wavelength Range: Signal wavelength range typically covers the C-band (e.g., 1527.99nm - 1568.36nm), meeting various C-band optical communication applications like signal amplification in fiber optic systems.
